The rubric
The Root Eight
Eight things that separate care built for PCOS (PMOS) from a generic weight-loss subscription. Every provider is scored on each one — none, partial, or strong — and the eight add up to a single Root-Cause Fit.
Root-cause metabolic care
Starts from the insulin that drives PMOS, rather than treating the scale as the whole problem.
PMOS & androgen fluency
Clinicians who can read androgen excess and irregular cycles without being walked through it first.
Labs that look deeper
Looks at fasting insulin, A1c and androgens — the markers PMOS hides behind while weight takes the blame.
A dose made for your body
Doses prepared for your body in custom increments, so titration follows your response rather than a schedule.
A person you can reach
Someone qualified answers within a useful window when a side effect worries you.
A plan for after
A published plan for holding results and stepping down, because this does not end at a goal weight.
Honest money
One readable number, with the full dose range priced before you commit rather than after.
People in your corner
Ongoing accountability, since PMOS is measured in decades rather than months.
How the eight become one rating
Each dimension earns none (0), partial (1), or strong (2), for a total out of sixteen. That total fills the Root-Cause Fit bar and sets the level: Strong (11–16), Solid (8–10), Fair (4–7), or Low (0–3). A missing feature is scored as absent, not as a fault — and price is never part of the maths.
